Djibouti and Kuwait Discuss the Current State of Somalia

djibouti FlagDjiboti,(insidesomalia.org)- The minister for foreign affairs and the international relation of the republic of Djabouti Mr. Mohammed Ali Yussuf spearheading top delegates visited the Kuwaiti capital Kuwait, and had crucial discussion about the matter of Somalia with the minister of economic and defense of the kingdom of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

 

Both sides have discussed upon several issues about Somalia, and the recent tension between Djibouti and the Eritrean government.

 

The Djiboutian delegates seriously coaxed the Kuwaiti authority to sincerely support the recent peace treaty signed in the Djiboutian capital Djibouti between the opponents and the transitional federal government of Somalia.     

 

Mr. Yussuf Also said that the Djiboutian regime would play its part of and pave the way for how Somalia to get an absolute peace, and conclude the long standing enmity among the Somali people. 

 

The regime of Kuwait extolled the government of Djibouti for her brother support to the Somali people who were in anarchy for the past 18 years.    

 

"Both the government and the citizens of Kuwait hope to see Somalia once again in the world arena" said the Minister of defense of Kuwait.
